Description

While Hopeless Romantic is written in the jazz style, it should be played with a straight eighth-note feel throughout. Letter C is the improvisation section and while there are many harmonies expressed as simple triads, players should be careful of the root movement and implied voice-leading which adheres to the harmonic structure of the tune. Hopeless Romantic may be heard on the Dutch Music Partners CD recording Pagán/Walter Duo released in 2003.
