Pereira – Colombia, 1991. Percussionist, drummer, arranger and composer. Bachelor Degree in Music from the “Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira”. Menno Bosgra

Menno Bosgra composes since 1996 for percussion ensemble and from 2004 also for Concertband, Fanfare and Brassband. Around 1996, he started arranging for percussion ensemble, mostly in cooperation with his colleague Roel Jan Jongsma.

Folkert Buis

Folkert Buis (born in Leeuwarden, Holland, February 8th 1971) studied Classical Percussion and Jazz Vibraphone in Enschede. He attained his masters degree in 1998. At the moment he is teaching at the school for music in Hengelo, as well as conducting several percussion groups and a youth wind-orchestra. He is an active drummer, percussionist and guitar-player.

Vincent Cox

Vincent Cox was born in Ittervoort (Limburg/The Netherlands) in 1973.

From 1984 until 1991 he attended percussion lessons at “KREATO”, school of music, in Thorn. He was educated by Jo Zinzen who also taught at the academy of music in Voeren (Belgium) where Vincent attended lessons between 1990 and 1993.

Kees Schoonenbeek

Kees Schoonenbeek was born in Arnhem, the Netherlands, on October 1 st 1947.He studied the piano at the Conservatory in Arnhem and completed his studies in music theory and composition at the Conservatory of Brabant in Tilburg. Schoonenbeek taught at the latter institute from 1975 till 1977, where he also won the Composition award in 1978.
